Jill Dando shining a light amongst a Nest of Vipers.

UntitledJill Dando was a UK television presenter and BBC Journalist who on Monday 26 April 1999 was fatally shot outside her home in Fulham London at 11:32am, a journalist who was investigating child abuse at the highest levels of the BBC and within the government, with compassion integrity and a quest for the truth rarely seen in mainstream journalism. A quest for the truth that would eventually lead to her murder at the tender age of 37.

Jill Dando started her career working with her father and brother at the Western Mercury Newspaper and later for BBC Devon and BBC South West she also hosted a magazine programme Spotlight South West and has worked for the BBC for over 15 years presenting shows like Holiday and Crimewatch as well as being a regular presenter of the news and had become one of the most popular and highly respected presenters and journalists ever to come out of the BBC her easy going radiant personality was an instant hit with viewers.

There are many stories put out by the media why Jill Dando was killed but many are based on half truth’s and lies designed to muddy the waters. One such story is that Jill Dando was murdered by Serbians because of Tony Blair’s illegal sanctioning of the bombing of a Television station in Serbia. Tony Blair never had to sanction any bombing of a Television Studio all he had to to do was allow it to get caught in the crossfire between several buildings surrounding it after all schools, hospitals and residential areas were also caught in the crossfire and reported by the mainstream and non mainstream media as tragic accidents. Even if Blair did sanction the bombing he could only do so through several other government ministers from various departments and parties including several government experts in various fields. Is our government corrupt most likely is Blair guilty partly but he is protected because he covered all angles and can say he went with expert opinion even if the experts are corrupt. No PM or political party here in the UK has ever had any real control over what happens here they are simply the voice and the political scapegoat.

When Barry George was arrested for the murder of Jill Dando on the 2nd July 2001 something unusual happened amongst the people despite the mainstream media pulling out all the stops to convince us Barry George was a murderer most of the general public did not believe it and it caused an outcry and an overwhelming support for Barry George. Barry George was considered a “Walter Mitty” type character who started to impersonate famous figures He appeared in a local newspaper claiming to be the winner of the British Karate Championship He gave his name as ‘Paul Gadd’ and his occupation as ‘a singer with the band Xanadu and a session musician with the Electric Light Orchestra’. Later dis-proven by various newspapers. George was also found on Kensington Palace while Prince Charles and Lady Diana were in residence he wore a balaclava and allegedly carried a 50 foot rope and 12 inch hunting knife. The Queen International Fan Club called the police after Barry changed his name and claimed to be Freddie Mercury’s cousin where he would visit Mercury’s home and approach female fans. Many incidents like this happen during the 80s. Barry’s attitude towards women was also in question when he married a Japanese student, Itsuko Toide who accused Barry of threatening and violent behavior but the case was dropped and did not go to court and the marriage ended in April 1990. George’s obsession with women did not end with his marriage in April 1990, and again in January 1992, George was arrested and charged with indecent assault. Again neither case went to court. Either the British justice system is incompetent or Barry had a lot of luck in never being charged with any offense or they may have been one more possible scenario he was being allowed to go free to be set up and charged at a later date with something bigger. Despite more information coming out the public did not buy into it.

Before his trial for the murder of Jill Dando Barry George was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and prosecution psychologists studying George since his arrest for the Dando murder claimed that he was suffering from several different personality disorders such as antisocial, narcissistic, histrionic and paranoia. A man suffering from these conditions, un sociable around people and awkward around women able to stand so close to a woman that in his mind he idolized and was able to pick up a gun and shoot her execution style at close range with all the professionalism of a Hit-man without panicking or making a mistake then coolly walk away does not seem plausible and the public did not think so either. Although many within the media knew the job was done by a professional within the first few weeks of the investigation it was never confirmed until after Barry George’s release on the15 November 2007 when his conviction was quashed. Barry was convicted on 2 July 2001 and acquitted on 1 August 2008 and so far has received no compensation and to this day still fixated on celebrities including Cheryl Cole and newsreader Kay Burley. Barry George is as much a victim as Jill Dando and should have got the help he needed a long time ago the signs were there and they went unheard by society.

Jill Dando like many other well known people was assassinated for trying to find and expose the truth. It had been known by some in the alternative media that Jill had spoken with some of them about child abuse within the establishment discussing corporations, social services and government involvement. The criminal underworld like prisons have a strong hatred for child abusers and some from within their families have payed the price for this. The press claim that Jill Dando was killed by Mr Big a sensational way of getting us to believe it was a member of a criminal gang and to sell more papers and propaganda. Yes a hit man killed Jill Dando sadly we may never know who ordered it but we will always know why. Jill spoke to or trusted the wrong person within the BBC or the government who intentionally or unintentionally got her killed.

Jill Dando was a warm compassionate woman, a beautiful ray of light that radiated around everyone she came in contact with, she always had time to talk to people and treated everyone with the up most respect. She was a journalist of the highest caliber who showed true integrity, honesty and extreme bravery rarely seen in the mainstream media and she was respected by colleagues and loved by the public. A true Journalist shining a light amongst a nest of vipers.
